All research projects will produce family tree charts and a findings folder. This folder contains all records I can find in which your direct ancestors of that surname appear, and would typically include, but are not limited to: • Census records from 1841 to 1921; 1939 register • Birth/Baptism, marriage and death/burial records • Military records • Travel and migration documents (such as passenger lists) • School and university records • Criminal and court records • Wills and probate documents • Newspaper Articles • Photos All documents are downloaded, copied into an A4 page and presented chronologically in punched pockets in a ring binder. Every document has a title with a date for easy navigation, with any unclear or difficult to read information transcribed in footnotes, as well as my own interpretation of data included where necessary. These documents typically number 80-100 pages for a single surname, around double that for two surnames, and so on. A fully comprehensive research package can run to many hundreds of pages. As well as the printed version, I upload all my findings to the cloud as PDFs and email you a link for you to share with family members. Typically, my research traces back to 3x great grandparents (usually 1750-1800) and places emphasis on direct ancestors. Should I encounter an individual whom I believe merits significant in-depth investigation (for example, an interesting uncle) I can undertake that extra research for a nominal extra fee to be agreed between us, should you wish me to proceed. I always tailor my research to individual requirements and budgets, and would require an initial consultation without obligation, before emailing you a written quote.

This traces back from a single individual (you, your father or mother) back as far as I deem reliable (usually back to around 1750-1800), along that (male) surname line.
This will create a descendant chart in which all direct male ancestors of that surname appear, including wives of those male direct ancestors (but not back from those wives), as well as siblings of those male direct ancestors. All documents in which those direct ancestors appear will appear in your research findings folder.
Price: £500 plus costs*
As with Single Surname, but also tracing a second surname, (for example, the mother of the starting individual), back along that surname line.
This will create two descendant charts and one ancestor chart. All documents in which those direct ancestors appear will appear in your research findings folder.
Price: £950 plus costs*
As with one and two surnames, but tracing along the surname lines of all four surnames of the grandparents of the starting individual.
This will create four descendant charts and one ancestor chart. All documents in which those direct ancestors appear will appear in your research findings folder.
Price: £1,800 plus costs*
This fully comprehensive research package will encompass research back to all 32 of your great, great, great grandparents. This is usually double the number of individuals of the four surnames research package, and produces hundreds of documents.
This will create up to 32 descendant charts, and one or two ancestor charts. All documents in which those direct ancestors appear will appear in your research findings folder.
